September 7, 1925, Monday
Rainy forenoon but p.m. bright for Labor Day and a cool evening. George came home early morning and he and Will fixed shed roof and went to Wm Pierce’s and came home in p.m. George sharpened sickles and went around cattle, and Will, Louise and I went out to field. During day we oiled and varnished front room floor, and Louise put curtains upstairs.
Glen McEachran and Uncle fished and had car stalled, so ate a lunch. Tom, Sadie, Thomas, Stanley, Madge and Harold stopped awhile when they got Victor Pearson, started home with hay rack. Mr. Horst and Wm Smith were here this p.m.
