A bright day and warmer. Ed, Rena, Leo, Edward, and Charlotte came today to school and William still feels bad, but in the evening he helped Will get a load of hay and went all in. Will talked to visitors today for Menz came for a load of bones. John Wisenberger and Dick Schmidt also were here. I did ordinary work.

Still cold. Sun shone but wind blew and moved some snow until p.m. when it was all packed and none to move but was drifted so men shoveled the coop-door so as to feed chickens, they gave stock cane and alfalfa and chored in a.m. Will had a headache so laid down in p.m. and never went to chore in eve but emptied out as much wasted stuff as he could for everything was real frozen. I got meals, played one game rummy with LeMoyne, then popped corn and made fudge.
