Bright and beautiful morning but wind started to blow from the west at 10 a.m. and quite warm mid-day and a nice p.m. Will started to fix disc and in p.m. he and I went to Hidden Timber, I to store and Will went to Blacksmith Shop to get disc fixed so stayed indoors. Louise to school. I did only ordinary work and made cookies in a.m. Will took Wisenbergers’ hog home before dinner. Mr. Wagner was here this p.m., also 2 men buying cattle.

Bright Day and Vere & Chester usual feeding of cattle and taking Darryl & David & Jimmie to school in a.m. To O’Kreek this evening to a show at Catholic Church basement by Fr. Grether of St. Francis at 8 p.m. Will and I alone, was a very queer feeling with his sight so poorly and I so helpless, it struck us hard but he went to bed and I couldn’t but laid in front room until 11:20 p.m.
