1926 June 11th Friday
Warm and bright in a.m., clouded and wonderful showers in p.m. so cooler then. Ben, George, Will and William made fence north of Wisenburger so took their dinner and home in eve. Louise & Bess ironed clothes and in p.m. cleaned the upstairs and so many bud-bugs in boys rooms, had a time to rid them. I did ordinary work. Mr. Wheeler & family inquired about a load of hogs to town.
1936 June 11th Thursday
Bright, a few thunder-heads and a strong south wind but no rain and it got real warm in p.m. I got breakfast, fixed boys lunch. Will chored, got gas at store and we looked through the cattle in river-pasture on our way to take lunch to Thomas and LeMoyne on road south of Mosher, west of J. T. Hansen’s, then we went to Mission where Will got a list of Schulte from him at Mission Hotel, these we took to Rosebud, had lunch at Bailey Restaurant, to Hospital but Dr. not there. Was an Indian Council and Will listened to it. I stayed in the car. We came back to Mission, got groceries, gas at O’Kreek, to boys north of Earl Snyder’s and went to Snyders to get them and cattle in for the night, to Furreys where we had a beef-steak supper, back to chore and bed.
1946 June 11th Tuesday
Cool, partly cloudy, got real warm in p.m. for sun shone, was 100 above. I got meals, laid down in p.m. Van Epps came with trailer and took cement mixer to Tony Devorak’s, Southeast of John Boyds. He had dinner here on way back, that was yesterday. Today he helped Will and Hank stack nearly 4 stacks of alfalfa on Strids and they broke axle on sweep so Hank took it apart and Will and Van Epps got another one at Haukaas Garage, O’Kreek. Will and I to Legion Meeting in eve at Wilbur Millers, O’Kreek.
1956 June 11th Monday
Bright so Leslie got ready, went in Pick Up to Lyle Bartleson’s to work 41 calves. Vere went to O’Kreek to stay.
