Bright, very hot, little breeze at times from south then to N.W. in p.m. but so hot until after sun-set was cooler north breeze. I got meals but not much at noon, for LeMoyne and Thomas took lunch and went to the East and North side of Big Pasture and fixed fence and LeMoyne went through our cattle on way out. Will finished kalsomining our room and started to Paint woodwork. I washed some wood-work and Will did that I couldn’t reach. Will took Thomas and LeMoyne to Hidden Timber Bowery, east of store, and they stayed for the dance given by Elmer Chauncey and Chas McCormick with the help of Wallace Gran who stays at McCormicks now, for Mrs. McCormick is with her parents at Springview with a newborn baby boy.
