Cold last night, but sun shone and not bad to-day. I was so sick last night that couldn’t get over it this morning so Will decided to take me to Dr. Malster at Carter. Van Epps gave calves hay on sled and Will took the cattle back to Wisenberger’s and he has to milk out once a day the roan Arcoren heifer which had a calf Sunday evening, a roan heifer calf. Dr. Malster told me to be careful with eating, gave some capsules to clean liver and system in general. I was still quite sick at times at Winner where we went to get groceries and had dinner. Will went to a bull sale at Pavilion, a large crowd there and a lot of folks in town also. Will got 2 gallons of ice-cream so we came via Van Epps to tell them to come down in eve to help us eat it and they did. W. D., Elsie, Billie, Marjorie and Mr. Ernest Van Epps. We took Mr. and Mrs. Wm Chauncey Sr. home from Winner for they took hogs to market and left their Pick-Up to have overhauled. I saw Mr. and T. F. Whiting Sr., Mrs. James Dowd, Mrs. Roy Carr. I never ate much this supper but it will be hard to get used to eating only a limited amount of food and my big meals at midday so guess I will be hungry for awhile.

Bright cold day so Will & Chester gave cattle hay and went to Winner in Pick Up but no fix Pick Up so came home early with necessities, especially 2 Bottles Skelgas from McCormick Hardware for Janis. He got a few groceries and Will got us a lot of groceries, some other things we need such as drugs. Ellen and Darryl and Elaine up to wash clothes and hung out at home, the drain still frozen so she had to haul out wash water in pail and mopped Porch Floor. I fixed me a stew, put some cabbage in and it made me sick at gall-stones this eve. Janis’s stayed home this eve.
